Job Duties

• Daily cleaning to include bathrooms, floors, some dishes, biohazard trash removal, etc

• Observe strict OSHA standards for biohazard materials

• Greet/assist boutique customers, potential and current tattoo clients

• Regularly check on artists and clients throughout the day to assist them with any of their needs

• Answer phones and shop emails, basic admin duties

• Answer questions about general tattoo inquiries, artist’s schedules and policies, the use of items for sale in the shop, information about upcoming events and in-house vendors, etc.

• Assist tattoo clients with cancellations and reschedules

• Clearly document and relay relevant messages to the appropriate artist

• Point of sale/handle money, the ability to make change in cash

• Restock store inventory, put barcodes on items

• Accept and log inventory from in-house vendors

• Small out of shop errands (coffee runs, grab items from the store, etc)

• Occasional event planning/tasks, shop meetings outside of general work hours (paid)

• Opening and closing duties

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Keep organized shop documents and paperwork

• Keep track of artist and shop certificate/license renewal requirements

• Deliver mail and messages to assigned artists
